Ive had Ford F150s, Chevy Silverados, Ford Fusions and older Ford Focuses last for over 300, 000 miles. I believe the secret is in using Fully Synthetic Oil. And by the way all vehicles except for the chevy (trans.) still had their original engines and transmissions.

Working for a rental and leasing company for years, the Hondas and Toyotas were like tanks; incredibly reliable. Anything Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep were constantly breaking down. The fact that Jeep is able to pump out overpriced garbage every year, and make it seem like a quality vehicle, is baffling.

Regardless what make / model you have, these are 7 fluids that should be always be changed and keep it fresh if you want your car to last as long as possible - 1) engine oil 2) transmission oil 3) differential / transfer case fluid (if equipped) 4) radiator coolant 5) DOT fluid 6) power steering fluid) 7)and yes, washer fluid according to season, put winter formula in cold climate. P.S. keep correct PSI in tires as well ✌️
