I'm a 61 year old who can't wait to watch this with my grandkids. I watched the original Star Wars in the theater asca 13 year old. Disney has missed with many of its new shows, but this one looks really good.

I actually like the trailer and the approach they are taking for this show. The idea of having a group of kids who live a normal life in the Star Wars galaxy being exposed to the more wacky, wonderful and scary parts of the Star Wars galaxy is a cool idea.

When I was a kid I loved movies about kids on an adventure. E.T., Goonies, Explorers, Stand by Me (a stretch, I know). Even fantasy like Narnia, Stranger Things more recently. I have a 9mo old grandson, I think this would someday be a great entry point to the Star Wars universe for him.

54 yr old here. Can't wait for this show! I don't care if 100 more Padawans survived Order 66, when you had selfless Jedi like Kelleran Beq protecting younglings, anything is possible. Stranger Things is one of my favorite shows, and who DIDN'T love Stand By Me, The Goonies, and E.T.?
I think it's fascinating that we're in an Earth-like suburbia, too. Relatability mixed with a supposed Jedi-less timeline, watching Luke Skywalker's feats on a history holobook, speeders with side cars...what's not to love?
