Jackie is delighted by her wedding present (the new house and Samantha’s decorating), but she is a bit taken aback when she meets Hudson, Massimo’s (and now her) butler. Ridge wants to tell everyone he and Brooke are pregnant, but she reminds him they agreed to keep quiet. Nick asks Brooke why she’s avoiding him, but she evades the question. Eric surprises Jackie in her changing room and tells her to call him when she realizes what she and Massimo have isn’t real. He kisses her before leaving. Sally, dressed all in black, ignores Darla’s words of caution - she is determined to go to Massimo’s wedding and make Brooke pay. She heads out. Darla and Thorne later find the pregnancy test wand and are intrigued. Sally makes a scene as Brooke walks down the aisle, and reveals Brooke is expecting. Sally is delighted to have revealed Brooke’s secret.

Darlene Conley always makes the most of her material with her line readings and vocal inflections. For example the way she says (19:13) as if she’s doing a drum roll with her tongue. She just has an innate sense of drama and showmanship that works for the character of Sally. I’m glad they never tried to recast her after she died because this really is one role that is irreplaceable. RIP Queen. ❤👑

7:40 Who else was hesitating to associate him with the fresh prince of Bel Air instantly, because black folks are so alike? Love Geoffrey!

Sally is right. She explained it the best. She asked the question that everyone has been trying to get answered for years.

How does a woman like Brooke with no conscious, no care for anyone in the world comes out on top. It makes zero sense.

It still that way to this day. Brooke is always rewarded for her bad behaviour. Brooke has ruined marriages, stolen from ppl, and she got rewarded with Taylor's husband, her children, her life, her home.

It’s understandable that Steph would want to go to Mass wedding but why would Eric go just to beg her not to marry him? Also why would Steph go with Eric at all? It’s clear they’re not together since he’s still sniffing behind Jackie.

_"I hope my appearance is suitably sinister. I figure it's gonna be a great performance."_

It is odd how Sally is dressed in mourning here not due to actually being in mourning but merely to create a _theatrical effect_ - it gives the impression that Sally's entire demeanor in these episodes is not to be taken seriously. It was the same in the scene with Massimo when she invited him to unalive her and he responded by comparing her to a character from an opera, implying that she was putting on an _act._

In these episodes, Sally vacillates between being sincerely heartbroken (like the scene where she saw that her office had been changed) and playing the _role_ of a heartbroken woman (and doing it in an over the top, almost comical, way).

This theatricality of Sally's makes no sense for a woman whose daughter just died the other day. In fact, it makes her seem like an unreliable narrator and (although this may not have been the writers' intention) even makes us question whether her story of Macy being taken off life support may _also_ have been an act on Sally's part. That would explain how Sally's main focus appears to be her loss of Spectra Fashions and her desire for revenge against Brooke, as opposed to the loss of her own child.

Sally is really mad at Brooke for no reason. Yes, the Thorne thing was horrible, but she didn’t kill Macy and ridge made her ceo.

Many really don't see the malice in the writing.
Or many don't want to see it. "Macy wanted revenge its not Brooke' s fault if Thorne chose her!"
"Taylor will be a weak paranoid one blamning Brooke for the end of her relationship with Ridge. But Ridge doent want Taylor anymore"
"Why blaming Brooke!"

"Sally ha tes Brooke but Ridge is the one who gave her Spectra!"

Think about All the times Brooke blamed Stephanie for her break ups with Ridge! Was it really Stephanie's fault? Brooke wanted revenge, she married Eric had a Forrester child and the company . And for her fans Brooke had all the rights and deserved to be happy.
And I'm not talking about what Stephanie will do in the future because the wind has already changed in
Brooke' s favour and many characters of the show will despise her looking as fools sad or bitter people with no reason apparently.

Brooke now has to do what she does better then the men involved will be the ones who end the deal. So Brooke wins without any effort and without being responsible.

But every thing revolves around her.

They should have changed this soaps name in 2002

This soap opera always had two kinds of AA meetings in the long run. For Alcohol Addicts like Macy and Deacon and Annual Annulment papers.

"Going to a funeral?" asks Darla, as if Sally hadn't had a recent death in the family (which Darla doesn't even acknowledge, in spite of virtually _being_ Sally's family). Make it make sense. 🙄
