Late Summer Kayak trip on the Holston River

A Hot late September Summer kayak trip with some Hot hard fighting Smallmouth action! The river was fast and high with more floating grass than we've had all year but in the afternoon the level dropped and it cleared. the Ned Rig was the big producer early then swimbaits and when the grass calmed a bit they started hammering our Thomas custom Lures, Skywalker crankbait in North Fork Craw color! Enjoy the day on the river!
