Got Data? Building a sustainable environment for data-driven innovation
Digital data is the natural resource of the Information Age and has emerged as a driver for innovation in virtually all areas. To get the most out of digital data, an ecosystem of technical infrastructure, social policy and practice, and stewardship approaches must be put in place to ensure that valuable digital data resources are accessible, useful, usable and available to drive innovation now and in the future.
In this talk, we focus on community creation of an enabling ecosystem for data-driven innovation, and describe emerging efforts world-wide to build and manage ecosystems that support data-driven discoveries and advances.
