Pretty much so, although I could've just revved it to the limit right before launch and then just let the clutch pop up. But I didn't want to break anything on that trip so I decided not to try that. Really good grip on the track that day.

yeah, i totally understand, no one wants to put abuse on their drivetrain especially on a 4WD like that. btw nice Audi, i have become a fan, a pretty impressive car!

just bogged the launch.. were you trying to conserve the transmission or the tires? because i seriously think you could have beat the G SL, great Audi, love the 5 cyl sound, like a small V10!

Why don't you try supercharging as there is no lag?
hmm, no anti-lag to get the Turbo wasn't spooled so it didn't have power off the line causing it to bog? not sure if you didn't have the skill.
