I'm very worried about losing foggy and Karen, they're big parts of why the show works, without them I feel like they're going to marvelise the show too much. Especially since they didn't hire back the stunt double from the original show and it shows in the cgi in she hulk. Ngl I really wish Disney didn't reboot it and just let Netflix keep it

Apart from Inhumans there hasn't been a Marvel TV show I disliked, so I think it will probably be good, but I despise resets, so if it just ignores the Netflix series entirely It'll be hard to watch it.

I don’t see how they can do this series without Foggy or Karen. Are they recasting them or just deleting them altogether? If Disney ends up crushing the bones of what made this DD so good, it would have been better to just have let it be. If you won’t let it be but want to keep Disney+ more family friendly then why not put the Netflix series on Hulu after acquiring them?

NO FOGGY!? That is so disappointing. I love their dynamic. I'm glad for Punisher's return, if only to redeem his pretty meh show. If they recast Elektra, I'll be very sad. She was so great.

The actress who played Electra was fine...It was how the character was handled that made my back teeth hurt. Like there was zero contrast between her flashbacks/present personality, which just contributed to her feeling one dimensional, annoying, and generally someone I just couldn't bring myself to care about. If there's any benefit to be found in a soft continuity reboot (which I otherwise wouldn't like), it would be the chance to fix that!

I’m so upset about Foggy and Karen, those three worked so well together and I just can’t imagine them not being there.
I’d be thrilled about Jon’s return but I don’t trust the mcu to handle him right.
Personally I hated the Netflix Elektra so much that if the same actress does return, I wouldn’t be able to watch. It was agonising, and I DO blame the actress for that in large part.

I hope they don't bring Elektra back *at all.* She pissed me off so much in the Netflix series, it would be a turn-off for me to see her come back in the Disney+ series even if she is re-cast, along with Foggy and Karen not coming back. Not blaming Elektra's actor (I think her name is Elodie?), I'm sure she did the best she could with such a badly written character.
