From the first human the message was One God, then Nicene creed and some church fathers made it 3 in one, (the ones who rejected that creed were prosecuted check the history of the church and the split etc...), and then Islam came to pull people back to the original message. The ODD ONE OUT in all this long history of man kind is:

if that is not enough Jesus never taught trinity or to worship him nor the word trinity is mentioned in the bible while the name God is mentioned more than 11, 000 time not once it was mentioned! The lord Prayer did not mention any of that!!
