Bloodborne's most elusive enemy

I bet you could technically still fit this in the lore.

So the problem here is that a bit of architecture in Layer 2 is just high enough that you can walk on it in Layer 1. The werewolf spawns in such a way that it ends up touching Layer 2 and gets sent into limbo, causing it to lie in waiting until you step on the collision too and get sent to Layer 2 as well.

Inadvertently one of the most Lovecraftian enemies in the game

Time-space werewolf?
Sounds like a when-wherewolf

Interdimentional Werewolf: *Exists and doesn't exist simultaneously*

Bloodborne: *T H U D*

I like how even in bloodborne Zullie still dresses accordingly

The constant clunk of switching layers, the shifting reality, this could literally just be a boss fight with a bit more music.

I am impressed Bloodborne handles this situation so well. It lets you just fight a werewolf while slipping between levels 47 times and still registers damage and remembers damage taken.

If I step on a tumbleweed wrong in New Vegas, my computer might delete itself and catch on fire.

This feels like I'm watching a stand battle from JoJo, but I don't have a stand myself.

Neat fun fact, there's a Lovecraftian monster called a Hound of Tindalos that's able to clip into and out of reality via sharp angles. They hunt down and kill people who find out they exist.

So yeah, it actually fits really well.

This indeed is covered in the lore Zullie, Hounds of Tindalos!

So you're telling me that this time-traveling, space-bending werewolf that you killed in an alternate dimension dropped an item and you DIDN'T pick it up?!?!?!? It could have been carrying ANTHING!!! What if that was Bloodborne 2?!? Oh the AGONY!!

This is entirely on brand for the interdimensional madness of Bloodborne.

If FromSoftware sees this, we can expect an enemy that turns this into a mechanic in Elden Ring.

damn, they even got the Hound of Tindalos in the game

Finally, an enemy to rival the teleporting DS3 doggos

That would be an actually great mechanic for a boss fight.
