First step, assume it’s a circle and that the radius is actually 5

Because, Diameter of the circle is equal to sides of the square, so, according to the question, circles radius(r)=5, 2r=10
So, sides of the square =10,
Therefore, area of the square (a×a)=10×10=100
So 100 is correct Answer

don’t forget the unit to the second power
so 100(unit) and the second power symbol

It is also showing us the distance between center and the middle of the line so we go up at a right angle to create a 5 by 5 square which is 25 cm² and we got 4 of those which makes 100 cm²

if he asked about the corners of the square, then itd be
100 - 25π = 25(4 - π)

but this one made me facepalm i thought he really wanted the corners
