The solution looks pretty trivial as 2¹¹ is 2048 but still great solving 👍

Wouldn't be easier write that on the right side strait 2048-32 instead of 2016 and solve it by comparing!

When we have d/f base how to solve? If can't change base same?

The alegbra is nice... but if you happen to know (or calculcate) the powers of 2, this is easy:

2^11 = 2048. (M can't be 4096 minus anything, all results are too big, smallest possible result > 0 is 2048).
2048-2016=32=2^5. m=11, n=5.
