Just wanna say, y'all's has got to be the most real/raw format of content: two married best friends living in and discovering Japan, making _minimally_ edited videos, and really just waking up everyday to (I assume) an often simple life. Y'all are a fucking delight, straight through the bag, son! lol, love y'all; keep the videos coming.

Didn't even start watching yet, but I'm commenting for the good of the channel.

That bird was so cute! Probably the shop owner's pet, seemed pretty friendly! Katsushika is fun so far, but you guys make every place you visit fun. Can't wait for the second part!

I love the way pet birds echo the laughter of their person.

If youtube shut down tomorrow, your channel would be the only one missed. Thanks for always putting out enjoyable content.

23:50 Dried Diakon is actually a staple for Taiwanese soups broths. The older the better, some families will start using the dried Daikon after 5 years of drying.

I love the quietness of this ward compared to some of the others! Honestly will keep this ward in mind when choosing a place to move to next year!

Geez love the two of you. Not sure if this was mentioned in the hundreds of comments, but at 14:17 where Kyde was sitting on the swivel chair, it is supposed to train your core muscles and is helpful for your intestines and digestive tract overall. I've tried the exercise without aid and is hard. the aftermath sometimes is farting because of the gas bubbles trapped in the gut. So not sure if you remember if farting was involved after.

Japan seems more concerned with sun protection -- you don't see sun umbrellas elsewhere in the world as much as in Japan. Maybe park tents are a sun protection thing? Definitely never seen that before.

Hey! I love it when you show the residential areas of the city. This is so Tokyo. Love it. As always, like we're walking around with you. By the way, Tokyo authorities should give you some credit for these videos. You present the city as real professionals. Cool. Cheers!

I'm very jealous of your breakfast, looks very tasty! Good sushi is hard to come by in the UK

The sky tree photo is sakura, an early variety called Kawazu-zakura :)

I am late to the party but I loved this adventure. It ticked all the boxes for me. That origami gift was awesome! I’d be floored by receiving such a nice and intricate one. I want to see you do Edogawa-ku.

Thank you for this video. My in-laws live in Katsushika and Mizumoto koen is one of my favorite places to visit. Yes the foliage is nice in the fall.

That was some cool old school music at about 4:00!

I think both of you have been enjoying a real Tokyo life.
I think that "Katsushika" ward was named after an ancient clan "Katsushika-Shi" who ruled that area long time ago.
"Toshima" ward and "Adachi" ward were named by same reason.
I heard that the parrot was saying "Tanaka, anata, anata ha hahahha".

The parrot in the outro looked like a really old person that falls asleep at the dinner table at a family reunion.
