Thank you for explaining the distortion aspect of this pedal. I need a pedal that I can dial in the amount of distortion, as far down as a clean boost, which would be possible if the Distortion knob responded as deeply as the Tone button.

HAVE A SILVER SCREW DS1 and your tutorial was great i use one on a prinston by show my friend the pedal never used on an amp the Princeton was avai le man it turned heads the tone wa imo was like no more Marshall for me no ill still use a Marshell but this ds1 pluse prinston is my tone...RocknRollflat5

EH Silencer is notorious for having a very slow attack and release. It's shite in that respect, but it's cheap.
