–Cuisenaire Rods (if you have them)
–Ten Frames
*Notes: Consider the sound of the phrase, “word problem.” It sounds like something is wrong - something is a problem! To help students embrace this part of their learning, we will refer to, “number stories” instead. Who doesn’t love a story?!
