hey, nice to see you try out blockbench! just wanted to add a quick tip from someone that has used blockbench often: You can hold shift for .25 increments, and hold both ctrl/cmd and shift for .025 increments

7:44 - The reason the gird didn't look pixel perfect is because the old UV map was showing, you crunched a 5 pixel tall wall into a 2 pixel tall space (when making one half of the pokeball at 3:19). When you create a new texture, the texture density is recalculated via smart UV-ing but doesn't automatically update the grid on screen which might actually be a bug.

One thing I really love about the end turntable is the slight texture warp on the pokédex. Really reminds me of those wobbly textures in PS1 games

I have to say, I really appreciate tutorials that take something intimidating and make it simple. I have always been terrified of 3D modelling because there's just so many buttons and vertices and settings- but this made it feel very approachable for an absolute beginner.

Never would have expected you transitioning to 3D tools, but it makes sense seeing it in action. Great job!

I'm quite impressed with how well you explained it being a beginner. Lots of useful features that took me a long time to figure out myself when I started using blockbench explained very simply for beginners. Wish I had this when I started.

This is gonna be my new favorite tool.

I love how you made the models in the style of the OG Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow texture style.

This can legit be put in a Pokémon 3d game

Loved the vid, love Blockbench, would love to see more videos on it! When I started using it finding videos on the program was pretty difficult. Glad to see more people checking it out and making content about it!
