Here's a novel idea: when you produce a video, don't have the intro and outro BLASTING WAY LOUDER THAN THE CONTENT

1) Be born with the right genetics
2) Hit puberty
3) Dope microphone

What I found best about this video, is how profoundly bad the audio is.

Scratch all this. Whisky and cigarettes will help you get that radio voice.

The standard these days seems to be dynamic microphones like the RE20 or the Shure SM7B. They require more gain than a condenser but are less sensitive; which is a plus if your recording space is noisy or doesn't have proper treatment.

Also, VST plugin processing can be applied to your mic instead of hardware which is cheaper, saves physical space in studio and allows you to create your own unique FX chain. For example you could use a VST processor like Nomad Factory's BusDriver compressor followed up with some light EQ and a VST Noise Gate.

I appreciated the video but you should check your levels for your intro and outro stingers. They are extremely loud compared to the rest of the presentation. When I had the volume up to hear the video, I nearly had my ears blasted out when it when to the closing. That being said, looking forward to more of your content.

You absolutely can change your voice, in fact, you must.
Speaking for radio or a podcast is a lot like public speaking. You need to emphasize the positive aspects of your voice while downplaying the negative.
You also need to enunciate, to the point where you feel it's almost ridiculous.

I will say just one thing. What you should focus on is not the gear. First step is to train your voice and speech paterns. I have spent over eight monts now actively training my voice. I can speak four times longer without breathing than I did those 8 mnths ago. I have a way more consistent and controled voice than I had. I got rid of parasitic frequencies which plagued my voice. A great microphone doesn't realy matter if you sound like s**t when recording. I have worked with a bunch of micrpohones. SM48, SM57, SM7B and AT2020 are few of my most used microphones. However I worked on awful vocals on a Neumann u87 a microphone more expensive than my car and I also shot live streams for some of the worlds largest media companies with audio from my 200 dollar phone. Yes gear does matter. I can't deny that. But it is not even in the top five in terms of what's important. Do you want to know whats important? Story, character, skill, drill, setting, and perseverance.

Nice video. All three of the mics you show are condenser mics. You’re listeners should be aware of dynamic mics as well. The dynamics are much preferred by most talk shows in the US as they need no phantom power and pickup far less background noise. The Electrovoice RE20 or RE320 are good examples.

This is proof all you need is to sound not too fake and have a good mike.

5:51 shows why you should skip the condenser mic in an untreated room next to a stairway, and go for a dynamic mic. Also, what does “Condensing Powers” mean? Lol!

You can change your voice by speaking from the belly instead of the throat.
Way better for the voice and your vocal cords

My question is how do you keep talking and talking and talking without drying up? I just sat and tried to talk without a script for 5 minutes and couldn't manage it.

Pro tip: eq out all that rumble and use less compression. And normalize your levels fffs. End jingle just blasted my eardrums.

People are saying use a dynamic mic at home. Sure. But I say have both. A dynamic is a pain in how close you need it to get decent levels without excessive gain. But if you have background noise, then use the dynamic, yes. But a condenser gives you levels better, and has that sparkle for spoken word.

Condenser mics pick up room noise big time...unlike dynamics. I hear room echo in your voice for example as you are using that TLM105. IOW: ENVIRONMENT is also KEY to mic choice.
