Why are we even on the planet, if everything we eat kills one system of the body or another. This is getting ridiculous.

I think it's not about avoiding Bananas or potatoes, but it's more balancing these vegetales with low potassium. One of the most important thing is to make sure that you are getting enough nutrients in. And simply avoiding foods high in potassium indiscriminately is the wrong way to go about it. Better approach is to limit yourself to maybe or or two items from the high potassium group

I Loved this one. You got right to the point and stayed on point. Calming and so helpful, especially for those newly diagnosed folks, desperately trying to learn as fast as we can.I'm now 17 months into this, but I so wish I had found this one first! Thank you

This talk is primarily for those that already have kidney problems. The advice given here helps those whose kidneys are not functioning optimally or who are at risk for kidney problems. Some of the foods discussed are not bad for those that do not have kidney issues.

If you have high potassium levels and are experiencing slight swelling in your feet, it's important to manage your intake of potassium-rich foods like tomatoes and potatoes. The recommended daily intake of potassium for most adults is 4, 700 mg. However, individual needs may vary, especially if you have a medical condition affecting your potassium levels. It's best to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

But, while this seems wise for those with kidney issues, there are others of us who have had heart failure, thus necessitating water pills and potassium supplementation. This would alter your advice. Best to make clear EARLY IN VIDEO that doc advice geared toward the individual must be considered first. Though many things you say are true in themselves, most Americans are UNDER-supplied with both potassium and magnesium. REMEMBER FOLKS: these groups use info to make money like everybody else. Consult your doctor and impartial health info.
