So it’s literally the exact same build as the original developer beta 2, just with a J instead of an H in the version number to match the public beta? And I have to re-download the entire update just for that? What’s the point lol? I’m really confused, could someone explain it to me?

You can go backwards though. That’s why I run on my main device, let it settle in. If no good I go backwards.

The biggest issue I had in beta 2 was not being able to search in the App Store. I had to get the link on the web.

When iOS 15 is installed, does this then overwrite my “iOS 14 iCloud backup” that I just made before installing iOS 15?
If iOS 15 it does overwrite the previous backup, would my iCloud backup and data be lost if I ever needed to go back to iOS 14?

I’m using iPhone 7 32GB with IOS 15 Beta 2 (19A5281j).
Sometimes there is a delay when closing an app or while opening an app. Browsing and swiping apps in the app switcher is sometimes, choppy'. Screen recorded videos aren’t that smooth and are lagging a bit. App crashed (in my case messenger) while trying to crop a screenshot (the app is still active). The battery seems to be OK.

I removed the iOS 15 beta and enrolled back to the iOS 14 beta. Will I get the update to downgrade back to iOS 14? If yes how long will it take to show up under software update? Thanks

The only THING that sucks about downloading a these Betas and reporting anything about it is most of all developers that don’t work under Apple and people testing public betas never get rewarded with anything for doing these things that most developers get paid for with apple but yet we do the same thing like reporting bugs Yeah we can’t fix the bugs but still it’s the fact of the point Apples a $1 billion dollar company they got to at least look out for the public and the people that have all of these Apple devices smh 🤦‍♂️

The size of this update is not 500 plus gigs, that would be HUGE, it’s a little more than 5 gigs.
