How To Turn Off Airbag Light - BMW E46 (NO TOOLS)

In this video, i will show you how to turn off your airbag warning light on your BMW e46.

You won't need any tools for this job and will not take you more than 30 seconds or so.

I was advised by a mechanic that this if just the fuse for the instrument cluster and that the airbag will still pop in an accident.

The thing is i was a mechanic back in the days and i don’t like those kinds of fixes if you wanna fix it do it right because it has a reason it lights up. But if you just need to pass inspection and don’t have the money right now then it’s perfect. As long as nobody uses this and thinks its fixed or sells the car with, , no problems’’ its great😁

PSA: Removing this fuse also removes high beam indicator light and disables BC button from working(showing information on the screen or preforming a oil service reset) FYI little something I noticed dealing with the Airbag system light issue

The problem is (if you're trying to get your car inspected) the light has to come at first and then go out after a couple of seconds and any inspection shop will notice this. So, the only purpose for doing this fuse removal is if the light is annoying you.

if you're going in for inspection just pull it out and put it back again worked for me

Check the connections under the seats. There’s a good change the airbag light will go out. Also free 😁

BMW E46 3-Series: To get through an MOT with a red airbag light, I put the key in position 2, and removed Fuse 10. No rear parking sensors, but she passed the MOT. After the MOT, I put the key in position 2, and replaced Fuse 10.

Airbag warning light indicate that something is wrong with your air bag system, could be a faulty wire or sensors that may prevent the airbags or seat beats restraint from activating in an accident. Don't risk your life and others the best solution is to find out the reason why the airbag check light is on. Best of luck.

I noticed that when you take off the fuse (no.10) you cannot have the full beam lights in dash.
