Why Sasuke Can't Turn Off The Rinnegan

Sasuke awakened his Rinnegan in the 4th Great Ninja War of Naruto Shippuden. On top of granting him the regular Rinnegan abilities it gave him Amenotejikara and Six Paths Chakra. But Sasuke's Rinnegan is different from any other. It has 6 tomoe, he only has one Rinnegan, and he also can't turn it off, even though Madara can turn his Rinnegan off. So why is his Rinnegan so different?

Let's analyze this situation using his relationship with Itachi and how he awakened the Rinnegan by being contacted by Hagoromo himself in order to find out the answer for this question.

Just remember that Nagato was an Uzumaki. It was one if the factors for why he was chosen to wield it. Him tiring from chakra consumption was less likely.

about the final fight: i think that sasuke's left eye was simply swollen shut because naruto punched it several times

Madara wasn't able to turn it off, he has to transform it to sharingan first
And hagraromo is never seen without it so most likely the renigan can't be turned off

Sasuke also acquired Hashirama's cells through Kabuto, while he healed the stab in his heart. Just like Naruto acquired a pseudo ten tails mode by reseiving and fusing the chakra from all the bijuu inside of him. When Hagoromo said a lot of specific conditions had been met in order to allow their encounter he really meant it.

To this day we still don't know exactly how madara "implanted" the rinnegan onto nagato without him knowing. Did he sneak into nagato's room when he was asleep???

Correction: @ 16:18 I am almost positive Sasuke is not consciously closing his left eye. I am almost positive his left eye is shut from being beat up and swollen, similar to Naruto's eye in this fight.

Kabuto gave Sasuke Hashirama cells by pumping that weird stuff into him.

Kakashi and Obito's eyes were linked via the Kamui dimension, so when one awakened the Mangekyo, so did the other.

Obito's mangekeyo ability might very well be directly correlated with the fact that his eyes were physically apart whilst awakening the mangekeyo, therefore they needed to form a bridge through the space-time continuum, hence the ability to manipulate said space-time.

I always thought it was strange that Madara seemingly "Had" to switch between the two just to use an MS Genjutsu on the Raikage. I get that Kishimoto wanted us to know it was an MS level Genjutsu, but him switching between them while he was an Edo and never when he was alive, made it all strange to me.

I think it’s as simple as he didn’t unlock it. He only has access to it. Like a video game skill tree. He gained access to rinnegsn abilities but he doesn’t control it because he didn’t put the skill point into the tree in the first place.

He also has the tomoe because it allows him to still use his mangekyo abilities of that eye, those abilities being flame control of Amaterasu. Amaterasu comes from his right eye and flame control from his left

Something important to point out - That red circle on Hagoromo's forehead is not some rinne-sharingan. I mean just look at them clearly, they appear flat, as if they are some kind red circle pattern similar to the one at his backside. Perhaps a crest or symbol or something.
