absolutely worth it! the cdc is my second most frequently played tank. I have about 700 games in it :)
the gameplay is very cromwell-like i find, but also reminds me of the action x somehow because of the gun. super duper fun tank to pay

One thing you forgot to mention, especially in comparison to the Pershing, is that the Amx CDC does WAY better in tier 10 games. Think of it this way: the Pershing, with it's hull armor values of:
Front: 101.6 mm
Side: 76.2 mm
Rear: 50.8 mm
will not be bouncing tier 10 shells anyways, so effectively the Pershing is carrying around useless weight that will only slow it down.
On the other hand, the CDC, with its hull armor values of:
Front: 30 mm
Side: 20 mm
Rear: 20 mm
sure as hell won't be bouncing anything, but that lack of weight allows it to be fast and maneuverable.
--> Considering that both the Pershing and CDC are support tanks, especially in tier 10 matches, the CDC has the clear advantage of being mobile enough to re position and keep it's distance.
--> The only argument to be made for the Pershing in the armor department is that it can withstand HE shells better, and it's strong turret might produce the occasional bounce that the CDC could only dream of.
--> Also, the Pershing is a much smaller target, and it's camo values reflect that.
--> Furthermore, the CDC's gun far out classes that of the Pershing.
--> Both carry 90mm guns, but the CDC has:

> 212 mm AP pen vs 190 for the Pershing
> 259 mm APCR vs 268 mm APCR (Pershing does win here)
--> but also the CDC's AP shell speed is 1000 m/s vs 975 m/s for the Pershing
--> and APCR speed of 1250 m/s vs 1219 m/s for the Pershing
---> Lets not forget the CDC having a better DPM, and more accuracy.

They won't nerf it, don't worry.The only thing they can do is just buff it.They won't nerf it because it's a prem.WoT almost never nerfed a tank, and when they did(it was because the tank was plain OP) they gave you the opportunity to get a refund of gold.
