I owned such a combo without the turntable, it was very strong because it saw a lot of sor in our youth, most often it worked to the max, it was hot to the touch, so we used a fan in the back. Of course, its sound was medium quality, but amazingly good anyway. The problem was the speakers, the high tones were replaced several times, until finally I used external naked speakers on a cardboard pad, and it was still acceptable - yes and we were young. I feel very fond when I look at it now...
And I sold it at the end in a difficult period at the price of which I took it.... Yup
