I didn't remember much of this scene in the movie but after watching this reference all of a sudden I remember the whole of it. Those little references in the movies are great because it shows how much Jeff Fowler cares about the Sonic franchise, even if he had to do some research beforehand. I wonder how many of those moments he experienced in the games, if he knew some of those classic scenes before even thinking of the movies
