Hearing from a cosmetic surgeon that true beauty starts from within feels good. people have gone way over board in creating and setting new standards which just reflect their shallowness. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No one can make me h4te my natural, big nose because it is a great gift from my ancestors & I receive more compliments from women & men for my unique looks than ever since we are living in the superficial Instagram filters era. Appreciate your individual features, ladies & gentlemen 🙏 💯

I have my Dads nose. My Moms droopy eye lids. I’m Ok with that.
I am not pretty but I found a good man who loves me as I am. Been married 36 years. As I have gotten older I realize how much I have come to appreciate who I am. My parents are gone but when I look in the mirror I see a part of them looking back. Its comforting. 💜
I would think people would and should regret getting rid of the parts that remind them of their parents.
I am happy I never had the money to change myself.
I miss my Mom and Dad!!😢💜

I totally agree with you. Being unique and being different in many shapes should be accepted, respected, and loved. We are all beautiful in our way. ❤

Thank you Doctor. It is far more important to develop your mind your intellect your soul than to conform to some arbitrary standards of beauty

There was an oldie Twilight Zone show, where everybody got pressured to plastic surgery. They ended up looking all the same! How scary. 😢

WOW! Thank you for putting this out there. The younger generation needs to hear this.

Thank you as Gen X that was nice yo hear . I come from a family of actors & models and always felt like the ugly duckling until recently. I have never had plastic surgery. But body dysmorphia was difficult to get over. At the end of the day self love is everything. I hope as a society we can stop comparing ourselves🙏

There's a look among some women that have had surgery done that has streamlined into looking very much alike. I've heard people say that they subconsciously disregard those that look like that, because it's boring or flat.

My mum kept me away from magazines and tv growing up. I had no concept of society's beauty standards even as a teen/adolescent. I still don't. I see it, but I don't conform to it. That is what I will do with mine own daughter.

I feel like beauty is all about taking what you have already and making the best of it, even when someone isn't the beauty standard, taking care of your skin, nails, face, hair, etc. can most definitely make a difference and I personally feel natural beauty is the best which is why I stopped wearing makeup except for occasions, and I've never been more confident since I started my journey.

I don’t plan on doing plastic surgery, but if I ever get older and feel the need to get something done to “refresh” my look, I plan on going to you Dr. Linkov, even if it’s for a referral for a trusted surgeon in your network. You seem to have a great philosophy around plastic surgery and it really is refreshing!!! Keep it up!

I’m nearly 46 and rarely wear makeup, but was always self conscious of my sparse blonde eye brows. I always felt a good eyebrow frames the face and allows for more expressive non-verbal communication. So a year ago I had some semi-permanently tattooed on. And I love them. They’ve added to my confidence in continuing to go most days sans makeup…sans Botox…with only just 1mL of lip filler and some lip tinting so I truly never bother with lip color beyond gloss or lip balm. Now that I know fillers don’t go away nearly as quickly as I was told, I’ll be far less likely to head back any time soon.

Aging is a part of life and i don’t want to look like I’m fighting old man Time tooth and nail. But these little tweaks have added that little bit of something that keeps me feeling youthful and confident.

Thank you Doc! for reminding me true beauty comes from within. Sometimes, I feel because I have so much confidence that I become mean to other people.
