What is an API?

Application Programming Interface, or API, is a software bridge that enables communication between two applications. You utilise an API every time you use a mobile app like Instagram, send a text message, or check the weather forecast.

When you use a mobile application, it connects to the Internet and sends information to a server. The data is subsequently retrieved, interpreted, put to use, and sent back to your phone by the server. can u do another video, because chat gpt API is no longer free. and I dont understand the difference between Auth Type in postman.

so I want to connect habitify App and Coda io. but I cannot get the data from habitify. I have the API Key from the app. when I use it as token bearer in postman, I got 401Unauthorized. if I use API Key type, I got Error: Header name must be a valid HTTP token
