Sound like You on the guitar

I thought it would be cool to give you some ideas or ways to reflect and find your "own" sound on the guitar. It's amazing once it starts to happen. Having fun along the journey is a must. Keep going jellyfish!

Great video! I started playing again after nearly 28 years of not touching a guitar for other purposes than cleaning it, and during the last 1, 5 years I learned far more than during those years back then, thanks to awesome possibilities that were not available before the internet. I try to progress by taking out songs I really love and that are far beyond my current abilities and I learn the techniques and theory behind those techniques until I can play them decently. That sometimes takes weeks (even months), but for me is a great way to get better.
I really love the style of Dave Matthews, and that`s pretty hard stuff to dig into sometimes. But so rewarding once every piece of the puzzle comes together! And of course I can`t play like him, but I love where it leads me.

Team jellyfish! Great video! I liked the format: this is "this", then play. It really helps to explain to me the vocabulary / sound. ex: fast vibrato vs slow vibrato and (also) slow bend

Thanks for bringing in the acoustic, 😉 yes I kicked my playing off with Floyd, just wanted to sit and chill playing brain damage mindfulness big time 👐

My "style" is still "beginner who doesn't know what the hell he's doing." 😂

Yep. Finding your own sound is made of a patchwork of your influences.
This is why I sound like Jerry Garcia meets Jimmy Page meets Hendrix meets Robbie Kreiger. Without as much talent 😂
