I think an important detail that you kinda skipped over is the fact that Frozen heart decreases the attack speed of enemy champions by 20%.
Which in some cases could roughly translate to a similar damage reduction.

So just to make sure I am getting this right. It seems like in general... shorter trades favors randuins and longer trades favors FH?

I would love to see your insights on the new tank mythics. I mean, considering the damage mitigation, is Frostborn Gauntlet (straight up -10% damage from enemy champs) better than Jak'Sho (stacking mechanic that buffs Armor and MR)? In my experience, Frostborn feels so much better.
