Hometics Fountain, Is This the Best Fountain for Your Desk?

I followed Hometics EnviroScape fountains instructions, but took it a step further by rinsing the entire unit of any dust particles that would become lodged in the pump. I did not use the stones included, but used glass stones instead.

Ensured that the pegs attached to the plates were good and snug to prevent vibration. I added DISTILLED WATER only every other day to prevent mineral deposits from clogging the filter. Despite all my best efforts, the fountain proceeded to make it's annoying motor noise within 5 days.

So for this reason, and the loss of yet another $12.99 + tax, this fountain is resting comfortably in the Battery operated fountain grave yard.

My suggestion, purchase the electric fountains only. I will be posting up my next review of the fountains I use to display my wire beaded bonsai tree I create within the coming week. Stay tuned and thanks for watching.

Here’s an update, at the time of this video it worked fine. Needless to say 1 week later, off to the “Fountain Graveyard” it went. Purchase electric only and you can’t go wrong. On sale at Michaels Craft Stores, you can purchase one on sale for around $29.99. Mine have been working great for over a year! Watch my other video to see!

hi! as of now is it still working for you? I just got mine today. Currently using the stones given from them but rinsed them out as thouroughly as I can.
