I also had to hit it with a beat up 2K pad yesterday. Second time out of the bag. With that box shine it’s got a lot of over under and leaves corner pins. Remember, the pretty surface is mainly for shelf appeal. It did smooth out but I agree that it is a later in the day ball. Clone and Optimum Idol is a good league combo. Super bummed RG abandoned the UFO line. Hoping for a Cell Pearl in the future.

I want an Optimum Idol pearl. However, I've already purchased 5 bowling balls from Korea. 4/5 are overseas exclusive, Eternity Fusion, 2 Cruise Controls, Zen Soul (Sold in US market before), and Hustler red pearl urethane.

Hey Darren, love the video as always.

I'm getting ready for league after have been getting some coaching over the summer that helped me switch some things up with my game. With that, I've been bowling a lot of games in between league seasons.

I was wondering if you could do a video on bowling ball care, such as resurfacing, polishing, cleaning, etc. My ball is a symmetrical not so strong ball that's a few years old but has gotten me from a 130 average to 170. I'm not a particularly high rev bowler and I've gone from throwing roughly 14mph to now through about 17mph with what I'm assuming is similar revs. I'm not good enough to really change speeds on the fly yet. Since I have never cleaned my ball because I just frankly never knew I could do it, I'm having problems getting the movement that I'm used to with the added speed and not adding revs yet (we were focusing on accuracy and the speed just happened to come with the changes without being on purpose).

Having a video to go to to learn from would be great since my coaching ends in a few weeks and I don't really want to buy a new ball right now or rely on my PSO to constantly clean/resurface my ball when it just loses it's oomph.
