Nice save!! It’s not as easy with watercolors, but I try to salvage what I can even from the worst ones. Your final version looks beautiful. Great videos! Thank you!

I love the finished painting! It really draws your eyes into it. I love mistakes and failures because somehow there is always a surprise or two beyond it. Just move through it and something wonderful could happen (or not, lol!).

Thanks for sharing and overcoming defeat! Going through my piles of “messes” sometime is more overwhelming than I have courage for!

Julie, I always love your videos. I love tips. I love your attitude. But I totally lost it when you got to the suicidal bees. 😂 You owe me a cup of coffee & a new keyboard. Actually, I did dry off the keyboard and it still works. TIP: Don't spit coffee all over your keyboard and monitor when you laugh. Turn your head and aim for something worthless

Fun story! I actually really like watercolor. I "fail", a LOT. But watercolor is fast, and you work on paper, so just rip it of the block, and make a new altered version. My latest bird paintings ( more WC sketches) took about three goes before I was ( kinda) satisfied. If you call the failed attempts "studies", you are not wrong ánd it feels better😉
