I love living in Clearwater, FL, and don’t want to live where it is cold and I so love the sunshine BUT if you enjoy the cold and isolation, enjoy the heck out of it! It sounds like you have purchased your idea of heaven a few miles from your home. I really enjoy seeing how beautiful Svalbard is and I would think the light there would be an artist’s dream too! Also I first learned of Svalbard from The Golden Compass - one of my all-time favorite books!
