Saint Nicholas was a Greek saint and a Greek native. Nothing to do with Turks. The same Turks commited forced Islamizations and commited genocides against the native Greeks in those lands. Of course the tourism money is great for them while they try to deny all their atrocities against the native Greeks. There is nothing culturally or ethnically Turkish about him.
