Try and not put your parents in elderly homes. They can treat them really badly aka elder abuse. Sweden is not unique for this, it happens everywhere but it's worth knowing. Install cameras if you have to leave a parent there.

Swedish healthcare is bad. I was tossed to three different hospitals before being referred to the first hospital to the exact same doctor. It's very bad. If you need care, go to another country.
