So, I wanted to change out my horns since the OEM horns are absolutely worthless. Found your video for instructions on how to get to them. Video is absolutely fantastic. Straight to the point, no fluff. Bravo. Turns out the horns I got are the ones linked in the comments! Fantastic, great minds think alike!

Just a note to say the instructions were perfect. I just changed out my horns in about 15 minutes. Thank you very much. The only thing I would add is that all bolts were 10mm. BTW, I also had to remove the two bolts holding air duct, so I could gain access to the hood latch bolts (2022 Rav4).

Could you do a video on disabling the Pedestrian Warning sound speaker? I've heard you can place a resistor into the circuit to accomplish this. Love your videos, thanks!

I have a 2023 prime, i replaced the horn but my dumb ass dropped and lost one of the latch assembly bolts and one of the clips that hold down the shroud. Does anyone know where i can get replacements?

Добрый день! Подскажите, пожалуйста, возможно ли снять эмблему для доступа к радару без снятия защиты? Нужно очистить радар и крышку (эмблему) с внутренней стороны.

Pretty sure you installed the hood latch bracket incorrectly. The lower hood latch bolt tab is supposed to sit in the pocket BEHIND the body colored radiator support channel. Otherwise there is no tension/support happening since you’re just tightening the bolt into the latch bracket and nothing else. If you go back to the beginning of the video, when you’re taking the latch off, you’ll see what I mean.

The Hella horns require 6 Amps total, presumably for continuous operation, which means that their startup current is about 12 Amps. My common dual tone snail horns require 16 Amps startup current, total, and 8 Amps continuous run current. In either case I don't think the Toyota horn circuit was meant to provide this much current, for sure not the fuse. Don't yo think it would be wise to add a dual horn harness with its own fuse and relay to comfortably provide the extra required current ? I measured the OEM horns to require 8 Amps startup and 4 Amps total continuous current at 13.8 Volts. New horns need up to double the current of the wimpy 'toy car' OEM horns.

Is there a way we can access the seatbelt connector? Maybe a way to disable the sound.

Just take off the plastic trim no need to touch the bonnet latch.
