That is genius. Great way to move empty containers to a new location without a lot of equipment. Would make it easy for people building tiny homes, storage buildings, etc from empty containers. Now we need to get Harbor Freight to make a version!

Amazing! I move 3 or 4 containers a day with either a flatbed straight truck, or low boy full size trailer for the 40', but this looks great! A little tedious to load, but when you don't have a flatbed, it works! Great job

I used this company and met the owner. What an AWSOME delivery and pick up.

Are the dislikes from trucking companies that can no longer gouge people to move an empty container?

Just seeing this video gives me a hundred ideas for legal transportation of these units.

Massive wide turns with the wheels in the back end. Move the wheels up 1/3.

No brakes, no suspension, no chains, no brake lights, no clearance lights, no plates --- looks like you're ready to hit the road buddy.

I did this exact thing 8 years ago with mobile home axels, only problem is that with the wheels outside it winds up being over legal width, but I have used the carriage several times for short hauls anyway.

This is a really old idea. Towing dolly. Early Holmes Wreckers had them as an option. But very nicely adapted for M/T shipping containers. Thanks for sharing.

This has to be for very localized moving containers around as the dolly at the rear has the container weight securing it to dolly, on an open road, one big bump and up goes the container off the dolly and disaster is not far away! Good idea for moving around in an enclosed area though..

I thought of that years ago but never owned truck big enough. Glad you thought of it and actually made the device ❤

I built a dolly for carrying containers a while ago. Mounted high, over wheels to keep it under the 8'6" limit. I'd have preferred low, but the wide load permitting wasn't worth it.

I mid mounted mine, with bolts and straps to secure it in place. Mid mounting the wheels also improves maneuverability, and allows a light weight tow vehicle without insane tongue weight.

Are those 3500 lb axles? Probably OK got carrying half the weight of the container, but not the whole weight of the container.

I've seen a few over width containers (8'6", or 10'). Your design looks expandable enough to move them.

I see lights, but no wires. Wireless with battery? What about brakes? The rear wheel appears to have drums.

i been trying to think of a dolly like this in my head to make. given the unevenness of my property a semi would never get a container around my house and into my backyard. two of these would be nice. a dolly like this plus a healthy tractor would be the ticket to success.

I'm in love with this invention. I give this information a Nobel prize.

Next thing you know, Red Green will put a ducting system down each side and hooked up to 53 gas powered leaf blowers. Get 'em all cranked up and create an air cushion under the box. Once it gets off the ground, just push it where you want it.
