🎶 Neil Sedaka - Next Door to An Angel (David Perry Cover) 🎤✨

A joyful blast from the past! This is my tribute to one of the catchiest pop hits of the early '60s — “Next Door to an Angel” by the great Neil Sedaka. Though not his biggest chart-topper, it’s always been my personal favorite.

With its upbeat melody reminiscent of "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" and lyrics in the spirit of "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen", this track is a hidden gem in Sedaka's catalog — and I had a blast putting my own spin on it.

🎧 I played and sang every part, and even threw in some vocoder magic for those retro-style backing vocals.

I'm 63, my older sister would let me listen to her record's when I was little. Years later she gave me some of her album's. One was a Neal Sedaka album, because she knew I loved him.
