I have been coming to London regularly (from Germany) for the past 30 (!) years, with a three year hiatus (not only because of COVID, but also because I was bummed because of Brexit). I just returned from a fun two-and-a-half days and despite some mobility issues, I still think it is a great city for solo travellers! 💕

I love visiting London on my own. LOVE that you mentioned a walk along the canal! Yes! It's the best. My favorite walk was from Broadway Market to Islington; the vibe was great. I stopped along the way for a couple pints -- yeah worth it! -- even though it was March and the weather was suboptimal. Just wandering around in general is a perk in London.
