As a Royal Danish Defence soldier for 36 years, I want this played at my funeral. It is so beautifull. Thank you for playing this.

The fact that 5 guys (just singing ooohs, and aahhhs, and hmmms) can bring tears to my eyes and chills under my scalp... Incredible. Great reaction... you clearly 'get it.'

I think this is one of Home Free's masterpieces (so far). Some of their harmonies in this one (especially at the very last) remind me of a big pipe organ in a cathedral or something.

I love also the home free "power stance" that they do so well. Great cinematography.

Just saw them in Atlanta for the second time. Such a great time. My husband said I grinned ear to ear the whole time.

Tim the bass has the most amazing 5 octave (at least) voice . Smoothe and warm.

Land of the free and home of the breve! Nothing more makes me so patriotic that men have died so all Americans can be free (i realize ppl might view differently). More Home Free DAMIT! Happy that your got a nice surprise with this reaction. People do feel and care!

In my ears, Home Free raised their own bar on this one. I feel confident Mark Knopfler would or does approve.

I agree with you about Chance. Definitely the folksiest voice in the group. Check out his arrangement and performance with the Hound and the Fox, Wayfaring Stranger. Best version ever, hands down.

Home Free taps into the human connection better than anybody. You don't just hear their performance, you feel it. This is so hauntingly beautiful. There is nothing about these guys I don't like. Thanks for an awesome reaction. I got a chance to see them for the first time last October and it was jaw dropping. The show was everything I imagined and more. If you get a chance to see them live, go for it. It was the best time I ever had!.

You notice the beauty in the cinematography…at times they show solid, at times you can see things through them like they are spirits…chilling…

They were supposed to sing at the Ryman on 12/24 but got snowed out. They are doing a make up show 3/5.

In my opinion, Tim has one of the most beautiful bass voices I've ever heard. Then he can go all the way up to tenor, incredible range. Austin, has a crystal clear powerful tenor, Robs voice reminds me of going to church, and Chance has such a buttery smooth baritone...Great to hear Adam singing on this song. Such a hauntingly beautiful song. Whenever Tim points his hand to the floor, get ready for some deep in the basement bass.

Home Free is actually performing at the Ryman on March 5th - this Sunday. This is truly a masterpiece of theirs. So beautiful! And what an awesome gift! Thanks John. 🍟

They're at the Ryman on Sunday (March 5, 8:00pm), it's a make up show from the show that was cancelled on the 23rd of Dec because of the ice storm. I'll be there!
