I appreciate that you can just yeet off any ledge and call your sky lizard. That was one feature an open world Avatar game needed to have.

I’m a little disappointed this didn’t get a full review, I was looking forward to the debut of Na’vi Other Joe.

Missed opportunity for a skit of OJ painted blue being chased by Alex and Joe with brooms or sticks 😂

Its strange to me how this game has a thousand different type of plants in it, but only two enemy types.

a lot of bad stealth games do that thing where if you're spotted everyone and their mother knows where you are. better ones have alarms n stuff and you can stop the guy who spotted you.

I just finished playing the game and I fortunately did not encounter the horrible bugs you did. The worse I had was 3 of crashes (consider that I did ~80% of all the content, what is a lot. Roughly 60 hours)
Honestly the worse thing about the game is the black screens that happen for interactions and cutscenes. Beyond that it's a flawed but really fun and a really pretty game. My advice would be to not focus on the main story as much as just enjoying pandora.
I like it enough that I only wish for it to be better. That's a lot nowadays as most games disappoint me to the point of complete detachment and lack of care for it.

I got this game for free with my new AMD gpu and i didn't think i'd enjoy it as much as i am, it's pretty solid for a Ubisoft game

Exploring Pandora is the best part of the game.

I'm all about the visual eye candy. This game looks gorgeous. Not a big fan of the far cry model though, and thats exactly what the gameplay looks like. If it comes to gamespass, it'll be an instant download to try.

The intro to this game reminds me of skyrim (when coming out of the cave and seeing a beautiful open world). Looks like they recaptured that feeling based off gameplay videos ive seen.

I've been streaming this game and it's good to hear Alex talk so positively about it. Honestly deserved a full review

Well put Alex, 7 is also where I put the game. And I agree, 70 USD or equivalent is not the right price, wait for a sale.

Edit: Would have loved to see more RDA tech and weapons.

Wanted to try this game out because I was somewhat interested. Got Ubisoft+ for $20 with tax included for one month and you have full access to game. I gotta say it’s surprisingly good and really fun. I love it so much I’m gonna buy it when it goes on first sale because I already paid $20 lol

I do want to add something to the base combat bit. The entire base WILL NOT immediately know that they’re under attack, where you are and to call reinforcements.

When you get detected, one enemy will have to call it in. If you kill that person and prevent others from alerting the base, only the area that you are in will be alerted.

I actually had a great time with Avatar FoP. The combat felt a little dated, but that world though! It was so beautiful. I spent most of my time looking at all the unique plant and animals (and sometimes killing them) making new food and the like. It was a great experience just exploring, and I appreciated that.
