COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic five years ago, when offices emptied, schools went virtual and social gatherings were canceled. How do Americans feel about its impact today?

People still walk around with a mask like they are in a zombie apocalypse.

I still can't get over the whole thing. It was my senior year of high school, and it effectively derailed my future plans. I knew for sure I did not have any plans to go to an actual college/university and instead looked into other school options that were not classified as universities. I couldn't even get anywhere with those plans either because of cost reasons. Now, I have to look for another path and it's not going to be easy. I was also dealing with depression and childhood trauma at the time and the pandemic made it even worse. Right now, I feel much worse than I did before the pandemic started. I was recently diagnosed with clinical depression and C-PTSD. I don't know if I will be able to recover from this.

"While the USA maybe the home of the brave, but with restrictions and mandates that vary in each of the 50 states, it can no longer truly be considered the land of the free! There are a few outliers though with the Governors of Iowa, South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming and not forgetting DeSantis in Florida, all fighting for this not to be"!

Here's one impact: No one trusts CBS anymore 😂

If you let the people here on the Internet, speak the truth instead of removing their comments, you could get a good idea of what they think about.
The worst part about this incident was suppression of the truth. It was pathetic.

If a journalist “had no idea what was happening” they are not skilled enough to be reporting.

It’s a shame. Growing up I used to watch Mr. Wragge on CBS. It’s a shame to see him devolve to such a state through his participation in this network’s propaganda. CBS wasn’t so terribly bad back in those days. But now, it’s hard to believe anything the media says.

Why are there so many conspiracy theorists in this comment section yapping about "propaganda"?

Never forget this like we'll never forget 9/11. This was part 2 and the sequel to 9/11/01.
