2021 Ford Mustang Mach E Test Drive | Does the electric live up to the badge?

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got behind the wheel of the Mach-E. A few weeks ago I was inside one that had been pre-sold so didn't get the opportunity to test drive it.. that changed today.

But putting my foot down on the "gas" made me confident that in Ford's vision of moving towards electric. The Mach-E feels incredible! Sure, it may not have the rumble of the 5.0L but guess what it does have? The power! And this is the first generation.

I'm 99% sold on the Mach E. I won't be purchasing a new vehicle till next year but seeing how much fun you are having driving it is awesome. I'll be purchasing the AWD Standard Range as I do most of my driving in the city.

Your unbridled enthusiasm is contagious. Good job. However, I must say (having driven non-Tesla EVs for 6 years) that much of what you experienced is common to the EV experience...in general. However, the car specific comments...comfort, driver assist, etc. ... are MME specific and thus very useful for one expecting the take delivery in a couple of weeks. Thanks for your reviews.
