Έχοντας ήδη ανέβει στον Γκορίλα, η ανάβαση στη Χιονίστρα δεν ήταν εύκολη υπόθεση. Η κορυφή απείχε 450 υψομετρικά μέτρα απο το σημείο που σταμάτησα σε σκληρό τεραίν χωρίς σηματοδοτημένο μονοπάτι.
Συνολικά σε αυτήν την εξόρμηση ανέβηκα πάνω απο 1000 υψομετρικά μέτρα και οδήγησα κοντά στα 1000km. Ήταν ένα απαιτητικό εγχείρημα που όμως μου χάρισε πανέμορφες εικόνες και με έφερε δύο βήματα πιο κοντά στον απώτερο στόχο μου, την κατάκτηση των 200ων ψηλότερων βουνών της Ελλάδας.
Having already climbed the Gorilla, the climb to Chionistra was not an easy task. The peak was 450 meters above the point where I stopped on a hard terrain without a marked path.
In total on this excursion I climbed over 1000 meters and drove close to 1000km. It was a demanding project but it gave me beautiful images and brought me two steps closer to my ultimate goal, the conquest of the 200 highest mountains in Greece.
