This SMG is Great

This is the only random roll SMG with onslaught. This will increase the fire rate and reload speed with every kill, stacking up to 3 times. So this 600 rpm smg can become almost a 900 rpm with all its original stats. It also gets 2 really good perks to pair with this. Feeding frenzy to reload even faster after you get kills or subsistence so you can keep shooting for much longer and keep onslaught going. And it has one of the best origin traits in the game, giving it increased range and handling with the first half of the magazine, and increased damage with the bottom of the magazine.

I got a godroll Ros Argos with onslaught and rewind rounds. Increases ROF and returns rounds. Pair it with Actium War Rig and you’ve basically got a purple Sweet Business that you can run simultaneously with the OG SB. Throw in a trip tap mg and you put out more bullets than a coked-out A-10 Warthog.

It’s honesty kinda mid.

SMGs aren’t doing so well, and Bungie hasn’t mentioned adjusting their PvE damage by any meaningful amount.

Subsistence + Onslaught is fine, but doesn’t scale above trash adds. And for those adds, Ros Arago with the same roll is better due to its range, mag size, and reload speed.

The origin trait is fine, but nothing super special. The range caps out at 10 and decreases linearly as the mag lowers. The damage ramps up to 3% on your final shot as the mag lowers.

3% isn’t great and 10 range on an smg is only about 1.5 meters (negligible in PvE)

Plus the gun feels garbage on controller due to how Zoom is still tied to Aim Assist falloff. This is the lowest zoom SMG in the game. It loses stickiness way before other similar SMG’s.

Plus if you want the roll, Perfect Pitch I believe is in the monument to lost lights in the tower with the same roll, better zoom, and a debatably better damage type.

Why not put the effort into building it. Suggest synergies and activities you found it to work in. Instead of going on lightgg, saying “oh yeah those perks are good” and just slapping a short together with some patrol zone lost sector footage.

Huh just checked my vault and I have this exact roll. Corkscrew/Extended, Flared Magwell/Alloy Mag (alloy is pretty decent now too), Feeding Frenzy and Onslaught with a Handling MW.


Now to wait for the SMG change that should be done in an overnight patch yet for whatever reason Bungie wants us to wait an entire Act or Episode for number changes because F you I guess.

As nice as it is, it's not really good outsight of trash mobs. I deleted all those good combos because I dont see any practical use.

Plus the IB smg with kinetic tremors is a more versatil smg compared to this. Combine it with attrition orbs and you get orbs galore at times.

I have this with Perpetual Motion and Onslaught for PvP. It absolutely cooks when Onslaught is procced; almost like having a legendary Tarabah
