It appears - both from the beam pattern and the three pairs of DD SS3s I have - that you installed SAE driving lights, not SAE fogs. The SAE fog lights are much, much wider beam ...Have to agree about the significant improvement in light output.

I’m glad I found this vid....taking the whole bumper off seems a lot easier than the way Diode shows👍🏻

No need to take off the front bumper. Factory fogs will pop out if you remove the adjustment screw and pulling the 2 tabs on the back of the housing. Fogs look good! Don’t forget to adjust them down. I found out the hard way (lots of flashes) lol
