How to make traditional Sicilian Olive oil

A year ago I was so lucky to visit a good friend and his father at their house outside Catania on Sicily, and got the chance to help harvest olives to that years batch of olive oil.

It was a great experience. It was hard as .... But taking a lunch break near our resident expert Salvatore hut on the mountain, looking out over the mediterranean sea and the beautifull Sicillian landscape - was a close to happiness you can get.

As im a foodblogger I couldnt help documenting the experience and the result is this video.

My thanks go out to Kristian Klok Pedersen and Anders Kirstein Pedersen for inviting me and showing patience with the tired me after a hard day in the mountain
