KJ praises Govt's move to use zero-based budgeting

Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin praised Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and the Government on Tuesday over use of zero-based budgeting for ministry funding.

There is HOPE for Malaysia if more ministers talk sense. Just compare KJ and the Johore MB ? One is booth licker and KJ speaks sense and with good reasoning, supportive if policy makes sense. The moral of the story : "Live within our means and do not spend more than you earn" I think this applies to personal or country. The finance ministry has an important job to balance the budget. All should work towards common objectives. Economy grows and never get into heavy debt or the country will bankrupt. We need good leader with wisdoms help the country to grow. We don't people to talk only and bankrupt the country.

Zero based budgeting requires a lots of paperworks. Malaysia's financial system that insist on spending allocation on a year basis and could not be extended to annother year will definitely be an obstacles for zero based budgeting style.
