I bought an Indian Roadmaster from Elkhart Indian, in Elkhart Indiana. No down payment, No BS. I took a good 20 minute test ride before any paperwork started. Then another test ride while they worked the numbers. They gave me 2K more than Harley offered on my TWO Harleys I traded in. I couldn’t be happier.

always fun to ride some new bikes. that new new always makes ya go HMMM.. if the 2 motos weren't apart of my top 10 motos I have wanted I would soo look to trade in and get something NEW new.

As for the dealer that is NUTZ. I get they don't want people to just put miles or what not and INS might be to much to carry for the dealer but that is nutz to not let people come in and ride.. heck that is how many just end up buying is right after the test ride.

Great vid glad he got to give it a try. and look fwd to hearing about the differences he liked and what made him choose it. keep up the fun and merry new year cheers.

Man that's crap. My dealership either doesn't care or really wanted to sell a bike because they offered a test ride and I took a 2024 Pursuit out for about 30 min. Sucks that you had that experience.

Good video, although you did not ride it. You gave an honest, unbiased opinion.

As an owner of several older Indian motorcycles. 1948-1953. As far as I’m concerned these bikes are the last of a long heritage 1901-1953. However, there have been a few attempts to revise the brand over the decades. Most were just a rebranded bike from European makers, with Indian labels. Then in the late 90s the Gilroy Indian came to be. This was developed with an engine designed after the Harley EVO. Next was a coke bottle designed engine. Many called these Indians bike to be a Harley with fender skirts. By 2005, that brand went under. Then Polaris, the off road Victory bike maker dropped out of the sky. I’m still waiting for a real Indian motorcycle to be delivered. The rest started in business 2011. So Indian can’t say they’ve been in business since 1901, the oldest American bike manufacturer. Harley is the longest running bike manufacturer without stopping manufacturing. 1903-2025 and despite all the crap from Milwaukee they’re still building motorcycles. You younger riders give me a chuckle. Ya can’t even work on your own bikes. Ya just have no clue what makes it work. But you make the dealers well healed with your deep pockets.

It's a buyer's market on good used motorcycles. If I decided to replace my 100K mile Geezer Glide I would most likely go with a good used HD. However if I decided to go new, chances are I would wind up at Indian.

Sounds like a couple lousy dealers, never had an issue test riding an Indian at my local dealers. On my second Indian, both have been awesome!

I called Gastonia dealer because I had never heard of a down payment for test ride. Test rides are allowed. Credit check is required before allowing test ride. No down payment is required for test ride. Bottom line is dealer doesn't want a 300 credit score riding their bike.

Believe me… you Harley’s was never gonna catch up, and he was definitely gonna keep pulling on you and there’s nothing you cud have done on the Harley’s to keep up without voiding your warranty 😂

That story about not test riding a bike unless you work the deal first.. is just straight up BS. That dealer is full of poo... 😂

If you like the dark horse negotiate the heck out of it because Indian can’t give those things away at their asking price.

Until Harley fires the CEO the company is dead to me

Polaris is trash. As a prior Victory and Polaris owner, you'll regret it. The Corporation sucks.
