Back in the early 1970s a person could have a used car, record player, television, furniture and a a one bed room apartment on minimum wage. My older relatives got to enjoy that. Then I was told I should be grateful because in Mexico they have to have two jobs sometimes 3 jobs to afford rent. I have always had to work two jobs at to afford rent. Then I was told hey be grateful you can still save up and buy a home. People in Mexico can’t afford that. So when I had my down payment I had to compete with investors for a house. I am out bid. Tired of being grateful for no opportunities. Just working to stay poor.
