The Council Skies album is a work of pure genius. This Joy Division number isn’t right for Noel but clearly it’s just one he likes. Great Keith Richards story. As an ex council estate kid from Manchester, I’d love to meet Noel one day.

This is white, native Britians' last stand. Exemplifing Machster's history before it is conquered. What a beautiful ode to the past having Noel play Joy Divison's music. It's a dirge for the England that once was not too long ago.

What an appalling cover, but to be fair, no artist on Planet Earth can successfully cover or capture Joy Division's classic yet haunting track, Love Will Tear Us Apart.

in the original Ian takes a breath between 'love will tear us apart' and (breath delay) 'again' that delay adds gravitas to the whole phrase, Noel fails to do that, missing the emotion, a meh from me, Peter Hook does it much better IMHO. On the plus side Noels guitarist looks cool.
