So it looks great overall very nice package the Mi 9 & Mi 9 SE, when I get mine I'll be sure to check the battery life, shame it's only 3300mAh (Mi9). Gesture lag is finally gone it seems (yay) and curious to see if they improved the mics and EIS in 4k. I really do like the look and feel of the Mi 9 SE more than the Mi 9. These events are very hard to get any decent time or test. And it honestly was crazy people pushing you around, trying to record or taking way more time than others...

Just switched to mi9 today, the bettery life looks OK. 43 mins web browsing / vdieo / chat and 96% remains. 7nm 855 has better power efficiency.

Thank you for this. This might be my next upgrade after the excellent Mi 5 Ceramic that I have now. I love that it has an IR-blaster again! Just wish they would make a ceramic version too. My phone is almost three years old now and not a scratch on it. Gotta love that material.

The Mix 3 also got a battery bump to 3800, this combined with the new SD855 and improved slider makes it most interesting.

Pretty sure recent miui performance issues are caused by the heavy built in ad system, it often takes up several hundred mb of ram. They probably remove it from the rom on the phones at these events.
